Jemba9 is a space industry start-up founded in the spring of 2024. We are developing payloads and components in half-the-schedule at half-the-cost by adapting proven terrestrial designs to be space-worthy. This lowers NRE and risk, enables a prototype on day 1, and leverages established development and test ecosystems. Our adaptation flow utilizes proprietary engineering and analysis tools to:

Chad brings two decades of experience delivering successful on-orbit space technologies. With a background spanning engineering, operations, program management, and business development, he has consistently guided teams to translate complex designs into reliable flight hardware. His leadership is rooted in a deep technical foundation and a proven ability to align engineering execution with customer mission success.

Paul is a recognized technical leader with three decades in the space industry, including nearly two decades at SEAKR Engineering. He has shaped the adoption of advanced technologies as CTO, IRAD Director, and Director of Design Assurance and Radiation Effects. A pioneer in championing commercial components for radiation-tolerant space systems, Paul is known for driving innovation that expands capability while ensuring mission reliability.

Peter has over 35 years of experience designing and delivering advanced electronics for space missions. As Senior Principal Engineer at SEAKR, he led multiple teams in developing ASICs and FPGAs critical to mission success. Building on his two decades as founder of an ASIC design services firm, Peter combines deep technical mastery with leadership that has consistently advanced the state of spaceborne processing technologies.

Bob brings 35 years of expertise across engineering, program management, production, test and operations.  With nearly two decades at SEAKR Engineering, he has overseen the development and delivery of complex space hardware while strengthening supply chain, facilities, and production capabilities.  His leadership ensures Jemba9’s operations maintain the discipline, speed, and quality required to meet demanding mission needs.
